There was no Big Brother thing in those versions of Encore Pro. Encore Viewer doesn't need SQL, but Encore Pro does.īack when I had dial-up, I'd get the same kind of error message "can't find database" or "can't connect to database" (don't recall the exact wording) if I tried to download my Smart Card with any version of Encore Pro up through 1.8.49.
